Spencer Winters

Spencer A. Winters is a restructuring partner in the Chicago office of Kirkland & Ellis LLP. Spencer's practice focuses on liability management transactions and out-of-court and in-court restructurings of all types. Spencer represents companies, creditors, buyers and other stakeholders in a variety of restructuring transactions across industries, including automotive, consumer, healthcare, energy, and retail. He also has extensive experience advising companies and boards of directors regarding governance and fiduciary duty considerations in distressed situations. His clients have included numerous multinational companies facing complex cross-border and multijurisdictional issues.
