Practice Areas
Cori concentrates her practice on advising multinational clients globally on risk management and investigations into issues such as financial fraud, bribery and corruption, and economic sanctions and trade compliance. Cori has extensive experience working with clients in the private equity, asset management, hospital, pharmaceuticals, industrials, and real estate sectors facing regulatory and criminal enforcement actions related to potential violations of U.S. securities, health care fraud, trade compliance, and export controls statutes, and in coordinating responses to multinational criminal enforcement and investigations. She also regularly advises clients on portfolio-wide compliance risk assessments and due diligence related to international investments and acquisitions, with a special focus on Asia; and provides advice on the design and implementation of international risk compliance programs.
She previously spent ten years working in Hong Kong, where she launched Kirkland’s Government and Internal Investigations practice in that city
