Career

A recognised professional in the financial, banking and insurance sectors, she is a pioneer in mergers and acquisitions and very active in the area of Human Rights.

Rosalinda has participated in the drafting of laws such as the Copyright and Related Rights Law, the Industrial Property Law, the Insurance and Reinsurance Law, the Financial System Law, the Central Bank of Honduras Law, among others.

A professor for more than 25 years, Rosalinda has taught undergraduate and postgraduate courses at the National Autonomous University of Honduras, Central American Technological University and the Catholic University of Honduras, in subjects such as Introduction to the Study of Law, Commercial Law, Intellectual Property, Administrative Law and Insurance Law.

Rosalinda was elected by the National Congress as Magistrate to the Supreme Court of Justice of Honduras in 2009 and has served as Magistrate of the Constitutional Chamber until 2012.

With a PhD in Commercial Law from the University of Buenos Aires in conjunction with the National Autonomous University of Honduras, and a law degree from the Faculty of Legal and Social Sciences of the National Autonomous University of Honduras, Rosalinda is a member of the Honduran Bar Association and an arbitrator at the Conciliation and Arbitration Centre of the Chamber of Commerce and Industries of Tegucigalpa.
