Paola is partner at ECIJA in Ecuador in the areas of Tax, Energy and Corporate/M&A. She has more than 20 years of experience in national and international tax law. She is also an expert lawyer in the energy sector.

Career

She holds a PhD in Jurisprudence and a Bachelor's Degree in Legal Sciences from the Pontificia Universidad Católica de Ecuador. She holds a Master's degree in International Commercial Law from the University of Nottingham in England.

She is a member of the Ecuadorian Institute of Tax Law and was its vice-president from 2011 to 2015 and was an alternate delegate of the Federation of Chambers of Production to the board of the Internal Revenue Service from 2005 to 2011.
