Telecommunications, public procurement and energy regulation.

Erick has focused his practice of more than two decades on telecommunications regulation, public procurement, and energy.

His practice focuses on public law and regulation, with experience in public procurement and the telecommunications, media, and technology (TMT) sector, as well as in energy. His expertise centers on designing and implementing legal strategies in highly regulated environments, with an emphasis on risk management, regulatory compliance, and institutional relations.

He integrates public procurement with sector regulation to address projects involving interaction with the State, structuring competitive processes and compliance with complex regulatory frameworks.

He leads the Administrative Contracting practice, where he is a recognized expert in bidding procedures, including bid structuring, handling of objections and appeals against contracting acts, and contract execution. In TMT, he participates in high-impact regulatory matters. In energy, he provides strategic insight through the articulation of public-private relations and analysis of regulatory and market trends.

- Advised on the Public Tender for the Concession for the Use and Exploitation of Radioelectric Spectrum for the provision of Telecommunications Services through the implementation of IMT systems

- Obtained the authorization for the route of the submarine fiber optic cable

- Provided external counsel during the legislative process for the drafting of the current General Public Procurement Law
