Gabriel Dejarden

Gabriel is Managing Partner of ECIJA in the Dominican Republic and Head of the NOLA Region. His practice focuses on Corporate/M&A, Employment, Real Estate, Leisure and Tourism, Sports and Entertainment Law, Trusts, and Banking and Finance.

Gabriel represents U.S., Latin American, and European clients in complex domestic and cross-border transactions, with a strong focus on strategic investments in the Dominican Republic. His practice includes advising lenders and borrowers in corporate finance transactions, as well as assisting clients in commercial real estate developments, energy projects, regulatory compliance audits, and complex labor matters, including internal investigations.

He is regularly involved in commercial procurements, asset acquisitions, and divestitures, providing strategic counsel across the full lifecycle of business operations.

Gabriel previously served as Professor of Business Practice in the Master’s Program in Corporate Business and International Litigation jointly offered by Pontificia Universidad Católica Madre y Maestra (PUCMM) and Universidad Rey Juan Carlos (Madrid).

He holds a Law Degree, magna cum laude, from PUCMM and an LL.M. in International Legal Studies from Georgetown University Law Center.

Gabriel has developed a diverse transactional practice advising multinational clients with significant investments in the Dominican Republic. He has extensive experience representing lenders and borrowers in financing transactions, as well as advising on real estate, energy, and corporate acquisitions. His practice also includes counseling employers on complex labor and compliance matters.
