Daniel Valverde

Daniel, partner at ECIJA Costa Rica in the areas of Labour and Human Rights, has extensive experience in corporate labour law and labour rights both nationally and regionally.

Daniel Valverde is a partner specialized in labor law and human rights, with experience in compliance, inclusion, and international standards in the region.

He began his career at a law firm specializing in labor law, where he gained over six years of experience advising on compensation schemes, remote work models, working hours regulations, implementation of technologies in work environments, and handling cases of workplace and sexual harassment.

He is an active member of the Inter-American Human Rights System and is focused on aligning business operations with international standards such as those of the ILO, OECD, and the United Nations 2030 Agenda.

He currently serves as Chief Diversity Officer (CDO) at ECIJA Costa Rica since 2020 and is a contributor to Costa Rican media on labor law and human rights topics.
