Blanca Gómez de la Torre

Investment, commercial, and domestic arbitration

Blanca is a partner at ECIJA Ecuador and a specialist in investment, commercial, and domestic arbitration.

She has participated in national and international arbitrations under ICC, ICDR, CCQ, AMCHAM, USFQ, and CONSENSO rules. Blanca led the defense team of the Office of the Attorney General of Ecuador in investment arbitrations and advises on national and international public law, competition, and financial regulation. She serves as an arbitrator for CIAC, the Quito Chamber of Commerce, the Ecuadorian-American Chamber of Commerce, and other institutions.

Blanca is a member of the Court of Arbitration of the International Chamber of Commerce (ICC), the Chartered Institute of Arbitrators, and the Ecuadorian Institute of Arbitration. She represents Ecuador in CIAC Mujeres and the Latin American International Arbitration (LIA) and is a founding member of WIP Ecuador.

She is a frequent speaker and contributor at conferences and in publications on national and international arbitration.
