Rachael L. Lichman is a debt finance partner in the Houston office of Kirkland & Ellis LLP. Rachael represents public and private borrowers and issuers, private credit funds, financial institutions and other institutional investors in connection with a wide variety of secured and unsecured financing debt transactions. Her practice includes working capital revolving facilities for investment grade and and below-investment grade borrowers, reserve and asset-based facilities, term loans A and B, acquisition and bridge financings, letter of credit facilities, liability management transactions, private placements of securities, secured and unsecured high-yield covenant packages and subordinated debt, as well as intercreditor arrangements. Another significant component of Rachael's practice is debt restructurings and workouts, including liability management transactions and debtor-in-possession and exit financings. Rachael also regularly advises clients on debt compliance matters and structuring strategic transactions in light of existing debt arrangements. She frequently advises public company boards on terms of their most complex debt transactions.
