Olivia Adendorff is a litigation partner in the Dallas and Washington, D.C. offices of Kirkland & Ellis LLP. She has broad experience in consumer protection, false advertising, and antitrust matters, with particular experience in FTC investigations, private antitrust litigation, and class actions. She defends corporations in a wide variety of industries, including Fortune 500 technology and pharmaceutical companies. Olivia has acted as trial and appellate counsel in both individual and class action suits involving claims in various practice areas, including data privacy, ESG, antitrust, consumer protection statutes, state and federal False Claims Acts, and complex commercial disputes. In addition, Olivia also advises companies on consumer protection and antitrust compliance concerns. Her recent matters include representing Discover in its Section 2 antitrust suit against Visa related to its monopolistic practices in the debit market; representing AbbVie in an indirect purchaser class action alleging an unlawful reverse payment settlement related to its blockbuster Namenda drug; representing GoodRx in the first-of-its-kind Health Breach Notification Rule data privacy settlement with the FTC related to digital marketing practices; and representing Meta in connection with the landmark 2020 consent order arising out of the FTC Cambridge Analytica investigation.
