Mary Mazzello is an intellectual property litigation partner in Kirkland’s New York office. Mary’s practice focuses on trademark, copyright, trade secret, and music royalty disputes for clients across a wide range of industries, including technology, sports, AI, entertainment, travel, consumer goods, and music streaming. May has litigated everywhere from the Trademark Trial and Appeal Board to the United States Supreme Court, where she achieved a 9-0 decision in a trademark dispute related to the novel defense preclusion doctrine. Mary also advises clients on pre-litigation issues, branding matters, new product launches, and IP acquisition and licensing questions.
