Martin Roth is a trial lawyer whose diverse litigation practice spans M&A disputes, privacy class actions, partnership disputes, employment matters, valuation disputes, trade secrets, and many other complex commercial disputes across a wide range of industries (including sports, finance, tech, energy, aviation and healthcare). Martin has won trials for clients like BP, Sycamore Partners and Bixby Bridge Capital in state and federal courts and private arbitrations across the country. He has also won significant appeals, including for Datanyze, Kingswood Capital Management, Blackstone and Sun Capital Partners.
Martin serves as lead counsel in numerous matters involving private equity sponsors and their portfolio companies. Martin also leads the Firm’s transactional risk insurance claims team, which has assisted clients in evaluating and making Rep & Warranty insurance claims, resulting in nearly one billion in recoveries. In addition, Martin has an active and expanding sports litigation practice. He has represented sports franchises and athletes in both public and private disputes, securing very favorable results for clients.
