Mark Boyagi is a partner in the Investment Funds Practice Group in the New York office of Kirkland & Ellis LLP, and a leader in the Firm’s industry-renowned Liquidity Solutions team. His practice focuses on advising sponsors and lead investors in connection with complex business transactions in the private funds secondary market, including continuation fund transactions, portfolio sales, structured secondaries, stapled secondaries, preferred equity arrangements, fund recapitalizations, strip-sales, tender offers and other liquidity solutions. He also frequently advises sponsors on the formation of private investment funds, co-investment programs, strategic partnerships and separately managed accounts, covering all major alternative investment strategies, as well as firm-level arrangements, succession planning and regulatory matters. He was most recently recognized by Lawdragon as a 2025 “Leading Global Entertainment, Sports & Media Lawyer,” and Law360 as a 2024 “Rising Star” in Fund Formation.
Mark is well-known across the market for frequently advising on the largest and most complex continuation vehicle transactions in the world. In the last 12 months alone, Mark has advised on more than $25 billion of total continuation fund transaction volume.
