Mario leads Kirkland’s CFIUS and National Security practice. A former CFIUS decision-maker and senior member of the President’s national security team, Mario provides geopolitical and legal advice to investment funds, corporate decision-makers, and corporate boards on CFIUS, Outbound Investment controls, Global FDI clearance regimes, and related national security and international risk matters. He is widely seen as a leading advisor to private equity sponsors across the lifecycle of their activities, including fundraising, investment, asset management, and exit.
