Mario leads Kirkland’s CFIUS and National Security practice. A former CFIUS decision-maker and senior member of the President’s national security team, Mario provides geopolitical and legal advice on CFIUS, Global FDI clearance regimes, and related national security and international risk matters. He is widely seen as a leading advisor to private equity sponsors across the lifecycle of their activities, including fundraising, investment, asset management, and exit.
