Profile
Mariana joined Nicholson y Cano in 2013 following the merger with Estudio Cárdenas. Her solid experience in corporate law has made her stand out in the structuring, negotiation, and implementation of both domestic and cross-border investments, including highly complex agreements within the oil and gas industry such as the Loma Campana, Narambuena, and El Orejano projects, as well as the Aleph Midstream JV and the investments of QatarEnergy and Golar LNG in Argentina.
In addition, Mariana has been involved in project financing operations in infrastructure, solar, and wind energy across Latin America. She advises both national and international companies in commercial, corporate, foreign exchange, financial, and international law. Her versatility is reflected in her participation in major transactions in the energy sector. Her practical approach and legal expertise distinguish her in the field of corporate law.
Education
She graduated as a lawyer from the Faculty of Law and Political Sciences at the Pontifical Mariana holds a law degree from the Universidad Católica Argentina and a master’s degree in Finance from UCEMA. She worked at the Holland & Knight offices in the United States from 2015 to 2016. She was recognized by LACCA from 2018 to 2022 in the Energy sector. Mariana is ranked in Chambers in Corporate/M&A and in Energy and Natural Resources: Oil and Gas (Latin America Guides 2021 to 2025). She is also ranked by Legal 500 in Oil and Gas.
