Career
Agustín joined Nicholson y Cano in 2005, where he founded and currently leads the Real Estate Department. With a professional career that began in 1988, he has developed extensive experience in prestigious law firms in Buenos Aires.
Throughout his career, Agustín has specialized in Real Estate and Construction Law, establishing himself as a leading figure in the field. Additionally, he has extensive experience in Corporate Law, particularly in contracts, mergers and acquisitions, as well as in the Agribusiness and Natural Resources sectors.
In his professional career, Agustín has advised prominent entities on numerous projects, participating in highly significant transactions, particularly in the real estate and construction sectors. His expertise also extends to his past role as a consultant for the Real Estate and Infrastructure Committee of AMCHAM and his current advisory position with the Argentine Chamber of Urban Developers (CEDU).
He has also carried out an important and diverse academic career, teaching undergraduate courses in Commercial Law as part of the Teaching Career Program at the Faculty of Law and Social Sciences of the University of Buenos Aires. Additionally, he has contributed to master’s programs, seminars, and postgraduate courses in Real Estate, among others, at institutions such as the University of Buenos Aires, Universidad Torcuato Di Tella, Universidad Austral, FORES (Forum of Studies for Justice Administration), the Polytechnic University of Madrid, and the Argentine Real Estate Chamber. He has also participated in the Real Estate Business School (ENRE) in Buenos Aires.
He has been an invited speaker at numerous congresses, seminars, expositions, and forums in his area of expertise (Real Estate). Additionally, he has served as an author and co-author of various articles, papers, and books on the subject.
