Profile

Pablo joined Nicholson y Cano in June 2000. He leads the Labor Law Department, providing comprehensive advice to companies on all issues related to this field. He advises companies in the industry and service sectors on the development of workforce structures, compensation and labor regulations, sales forces and their commission schemes, as well as various systems of multiple employment (with over 1,000 employees on the payroll).

He has also specialized in preventive advice on labor and social security contingencies, working with the Legal Affairs and Human Resources Departments and Management to develop strategies and programs for reduction and prevention.

He has been involved in the development and implementation of various benefit and compensation systems for middle management, executives, and directors, applying international policies under local legislation, and benefit modalities such as stock options, restricted shares, bonuses, and/or variable compensation schemes. He coordinates the management and administration of portfolios of labor-related administrative and judicial claims for companies in both the Federal Capital and the Greater Buenos Aires jurisdictions, as well as through the network of correspondents in different jurisdictions across the country.

The experience gained in various activities has provided extensive knowledge of the specific needs of companies in the oil, insurance, healthcare, banking, commerce, entertainment, workers’ compensation (ART), sugar, and paper industries, as well as of economic groups. He is an active member of the Public Bar Association of the City of Buenos Aires.

Education

Pablo graduated as a lawyer from the Faculty of Law and Social Sciences of the University of Buenos Aires in 1999. He later completed a postgraduate degree in “Labor Law and Social Security” at the Pontifical Catholic University of Argentina Santa María de los Buenos Aires, where he earned the title of Specialist in Labor Law in 2006.
