Kat Li

Kat Li is a partner in the Austin office of Kirkland & Ellis who focuses her practice on intellectual property litigation. She represents companies in patent, trade secret, and other IP disputes across U.S. district courts, the International Trade Commission, the Patent Trial and Appeal Board, and the U.S. Court of Appeals for the Federal Circuit. Kat has successfully represented clients at all stages of bet-the-company matters, including pre-suit investigations, post-grant proceedings, trials, and appeals. She also has significant experience coordinating global patent enforcement and maximizing patent portfolio value across multiple industries. She handles matters involving a wide range of technologies, including semiconductors, computer security, mobile devices, oil and gas, medical devices, and telecommunications.
