He regularly advises on platform acquisitions, strategic add-ons, exits, continuation and liquidity transactions, minority and structured investments, and other sophisticated matters central to private equity investing and value creation. He is particularly known for advising private equity clients in high-stakes situations involving complexity, urgency and challenging stakeholder dynamics.

Jeremy is widely recognized as a market leader in transactional risk solutions for private equity sponsors. He was at the forefront of developing and commercializing transactional risk insurance products, including representations and warranties insurance, and today leads Kirkland’s national transactional risk insurance practice.

Clients value Jeremy for his commercial judgment, strategic perspective and practical, solutions-oriented approach. Known for pairing deep market knowledge with strong business instincts, he helps sponsors navigate nuanced negotiations, align interests, manage risk and execute efficiently in competitive and complex deal environments.

Jeremy also serves as the office leader of Kirkland’s Miami office, which he helped launch in 2022 and has since grown into one of the firm’s fastest-scaling offices. He is also an early advocate for applying technology and AI to legal practice to improve execution and deliver greater value to clients.
