Ian advises clients and represents them before the antitrust enforcement authorities on matters relating to mergers and acquisitions and joint ventures, including complex cross-border transactions. He has represented clients from a diverse range of industries, including aerospace, beef processing, beer, building material, chemicals, computer hardware and software, consumer goods, defense, electricity generation, fertilizer, financial products, food and beverage, hospitality, insurance, life sciences, managed care, media and telecommunications, natural gas and oil exploration and transportation, retail, satellites, semiconductors, skilled nursing facilities, and transportation.
