Career

Guadalupe is associate at PPO and she is part of the firm’s Intellectual Property team.

Guadalupe acquired experience in Intellectual Property in the area of Industrial Property, Trademarks and patents. She is an expert in managing client portfolios at the national and international level with respect to the registration, renewal, modification of trademarks, such as name changes, mergers, changes of domicile, transfer of trademarks, patents, as well as the registration and renewal of dominion names. She provides integral advisory services concerning the registration process, renewals and changes of trademarks, dominion names and patents. She also conducts complete management of opposition processes against registration applications for trademarks, cancellation, nullity, vindication of rights and Infractions. She provides counseling to clients during the entire process, from the filing of claimsup to the conclusion of the administrative impugnation process (Revocation and Hierarchical remedies) before SERVICIO NACIONAL DE PROPIEDAD INTELECTUAL (SENAPI).

She is a member of La Paz Bar Association – ICALP and is registerted at the Ministry of Justice of the Plurinational State of Bolivia.

Guadalupe graduated from Universidad Católica Boliviana “San Pablo” in 2010. She obtained a Diploma of High Specialization in Intellectual Property at the corporate level from Universidad Real of the National Chamber of Commerce in 2018. She was also awarded a Diploma in Procedural Criminnal law by the La Paz Bar Association – ICALP. She also obtained a Diploma in Higher Education and University Teaching from Universidad Mayor de San Andrés UMSA (3rd version 2016), and a Diploma of Hisgh Specializartion in Law and Administrative Proceedings at Universidad Real of the National Chamber of Commerce in 2019.
