Salomón focuses his practice on transactional, corporate, and finance matters, where he leads the Technology practice for the firm and is part of the M&A and Banking & Finance groups.  

He is also a university technology professor, president of the Bolivian Association of Entrepreneurs, and partner at Babasú Ventures, a Latam regional VC Fund.  

Prior to joining PPO Abogados as a partner, Salomón was a senior associate at Ferrere, and a foreign associate in the Corporate and Finance department at the New York office of Pillsbury Winthrop Shaw Pittman LLP, where he advised financial institutions and energy project developers with respect to their Asset Finance, Acquisition Finance, Project Finance and Restructurings needs in the US and Latin America.  

In such roles, Salomón has worked with local, international, and multilateral financial institutions such as the Inter-American Development Bank, Bank of America, Banco Nacional de Desenvolvimento Econômico e Social (BNDES), International Finance Corporation, among others.  

At PPO, Salomón created and leads the Technology practice of the firm, where he collaborated on regulatory, transactional, and corporate matters with global technology companies such as Amazon Web Services, Facebook, Kayak, Uber, among others, as well as Bolivian startups in all phases of their development, from incorporation, raising capital and exits. 

Additionally, Salomón also has experience working with payment providers, facilitators, fintechs and digital assets providers, such as crypto exchanges.

Salomón obtained his Law Degree from Universidad Privada de Santa Cruz de la Sierra and a Master of Laws degree (L.L.M.) from the University of California, Berkeley, School of Law.
