Alexandra Ortiz

Alexandra Ortíz is a director of the Tax Law team at PPO Indacochea.

Her practice focuses on tax planning and advisory services, due diligence focusing on tax matters, and specifically with respect to company reorganizations and acquisitions, double taxation at the international level, joint ventures, service agreements, leasing structures, and trans-border financing, royalty contracts, and technical assistance and assignment of international employees.

Prior to joining PPO Indacochea, worked as an attorney in Central Banking and Investigation and as an Attorney of the Presidency at Bolivia`s Central Bank (BCB), providing legal support with respect to matters related to Central Banking, Administrative Law, Taxation Law, Securities Market and Financial Regulation. Moreover, she acquired professional experience in taxation and fiscal planning in Madrid, Spain, where she was a member of the Taxation Department in a renowned Spanish firm.

She obtained her Law Degree from Universidad Católica Boliviana and Universidad de Educación a Distancia (UNED) in Madrid, Spain. She has a Mester`s Degree in Taxation from Centro de Estudios Garrigues in Madrid, Spain. Likewise, she holds a Master`s Degree in International Business Law granted by Universidad San Pablo – CEU in Spain.
