Delma Paz

Practice Areas

Delma Paz is a director of the Corporate & Commercial and Regulatory teams.

With respect to corporate law, she advises a large portfolio of clients on an ongoing basis regarding application of corporate governance practices, including clients in the transportation, ports and logistics, energy, pharmaceuticals, foreign trade, food and beverages and technology areas. She also regularly participates in complex transactions, including planning and implementation of company reorganizations, purchase/sale of company interests, legal due diligence processes, dissolutions and liquidations, and negotiation and drafting of shareholders’ agreements.

She also has significant experience advising local and foreign companies on the preparation and negotiation of complex commercial contracts, including distribution, agency and brokerage agreements, as well as drafting of joint venture agreements between local and foreign companies for participation in public tenders and government contracting.

Prior to joining PPO, she was a member of a prestigious law firm specializing in tax and corporate advice.

Delma graduated with honors from the Universidad Autónoma Gabriel René Moreno (UAGRM) in 2011 and obtained a Masters in Tax and Financial Law at the same university, in agreement with the Autonomous University of Madrid (UAM).
