Prior to her incorporation to PPO Indacochea, Pilar was a founding partner of “Orpan”, a firm specialized in intellectual property that is recognized at the international level, through which she represented hundreds of clients having registered their trademarks, patents, designs and copyrights, and also sponsored them in thousands of administrative and judicial processes to protect them.
Pilar has taught the subject of Intellectual Property in the country’s most important universities, and chaired the Bolivian Intellectual Property Association (ABPI). She is an opinion leader in different regional as well as global forums, such as the Interamerican Intellectual Property Association (ASIPI) and the International Trademark Association (INTA).
Pilar graduated from Universidad Mayor de San Andrés (UMSA) having obtained a degree of Licentiate in Juridical, Political and Social Sciences (equivalent to a BA).
