As a leader of Kirkland’s Investment Funds Group, Chris has been instrumental in developing Kirkland's industry-leading global practice over the last 25+ years. He manages fund matters for large and middle-market buyout, growth equity, debt, secondary, venture, technology, real estate, special situations and other fund sponsors, including advising on fund raising, liquidity solutions, succession planning, key person events, spin-outs, minority investments in fund sponsors, secondary transactions, SPACs and sponsor operations. In addition, Chris oversees M&A, securities, litigation, financing, restructuring and other matters for a wide-range of private and public company clients. He is a frequent speaker and panel moderator on private fund matters, and serves as an Associate Fellow at Oxford University’s Saïd Business School, where he lectures, conducts annual private funds webinars, and works with the school’s Private Equity Institute.
