Practice Areas
Specialist in Value Added Tax since 1996 and Head of Garrigues’ VAT Group since 2009, advises Spanish multinationals as well as international groups and companies with activities in Spain. In 2012 he was appointed member of the VAT Expert Group set up by the EU Commission and collaborates with some institutions such as the Spanish Association of Tax Advisers (AEDAF). He belongs to the European VAT Club and the indirect tax steering committee of Taxand. He also teaches VAT in several Masters’ degrees and in high specialization courses on VAT at the Complutense University of Madrid.
Career
Joined Garrigues in 1991, after obtaining a degree in Law from Madrid’s Universidad Pontificia de Comillas - ICADE. He has also obtained a Masters’ degree in the European Union and a Diploma in EU Customs Law. Partner since 2003.
