Career

Graduated in Law at the Portuguese Catholic University in Lisbon (1994). João joined Garrigues in 2001 and since 2009 he is the Head Partner of the Litigation and Arbitration Department of Garrigues Portugal. On his field of expertise, he has published several articles and papers. Fluent in Portuguese, English and Spanish.

Admitted to the Portuguese Bar Association since 1996; Member of Club Español del Arbitraje, Portuguese Arbitration Association, Concórdia and founding member of the Circle of Litigation Lawyers.
