Vasco Rodrigues

Vasco Rodrigues is a principal associate in the Banking & Finance and Mergers & Acquisitions practice areas of Garrigues Portugal.

Vasco has considerable experience in corporate finance and acquisition finance, advising financial institutions, funds and companies alike in both domestic

and international financing transactions. He has also worked extensively with distressed debt and assets, having advised several funds in the acquisition or sale

of non-performing loans portfolios, as well as providing advice in distressed investment transactions and corporate and finance restructurings. Vasco also has extensive experience working with private equity funds in leveraged buyouts and investments in growth capital, by way of equity or quasi-equity investments and mezzanine finance.

Before joining Garrigues, Vasco was a lawyer at CMS Rui Pena & Arnaut between 2004 and 2016, having also worked as a trainee lawyer at

Mullerat (Barcelona) in 2002. Vasco Rodrigues studied Law at the Universidade Nova de Lisboa and has a Master of Laws (LL.M.) in

International Business Law from King’s College London.
