Manuel Liberal Jerónimo is a Counsel in Garrigues’ Corporate and M&A department (Portugal) since 2022, having joined the firm in 2019. He has played an active role in national and cross-border transactions, advising some of the main players in the M&A sector. He has also participated in some of the most relevant transactions in Portugal in recent years, both in competitive and bilateral processes and both in the position of seller and buyer.
Manuel Liberal Jerónimo has also wide experience in International Commercial Contracts in general, including Distribution Contracts, advising some of the main players acting in the retail and distribution sector.
Before joining Garrigues, Manuel Liberal Jerónimo was a lawyer and managing associate at the firm PLMJ, where he commenced his professional career as lawyer in 2005. He is a member of the Commission on Commercial Law and Practice of the International Chamber of Commerce. He has been recognized by Chambers & Partners, Legal 500, Best Lawyers, among others directories.
