Career
Bob has successfully represented many of the country’s most prominent financial institutions, private equity firms, and other companies in investigations and contested matters. He has navigated cases involving a wide range of matters and is an experienced courtroom advocate. Before joining Kirkland & Ellis, Bob served as a prosecutor in the United States Attorney’s Office for the Southern District of New York, where, as a member of the Securities and Commodities Fraud Taskforce, Bob prosecuted cases involving insider trading, market manipulation, bribery, and accounting fraud, working in coordination with the SEC, CFTC, PCAOB, and other domestic and foreign regulators. During his tenure in the Southern District of New York, Bob tried multiple cases to a verdict, receiving convictions in every instance. Bob clerked on the Supreme Court and United States Court of Appeals for the First Circuit.
