Bob’s practice focuses on representing corporations, boards, and individuals in criminal and regulatory investigations as well as related complex litigation. Bob has successfully represented some of the country’s most prominent financial institutions, private equity firms, and other companies in high-profile matters.
Bob regularly represents companies and individuals in existential criminal and regulatory cases and has successfully resolved matters for clients across different industries. Before joining Kirkland & Ellis, Bob served as a prosecutor in the United States Attorney’s Office for the Southern District of New York. As a member of the Securities and Commodities Fraud Taskforce, Bob prosecuted matters involving insider trading, market manipulation, bribery, and accounting fraud, oftentimes conducting investigations with the SEC, CFTC, PCAOB, and other domestic and foreign regulators. During his tenure in the Southern District of New York, Bob tried multiple cases to a verdict, receiving convictions in every instance. Bob clerked on the Supreme Court, graduated magna cum laude from Harvard Law School, and served as President of the Harvard Law Review.
