Anna leads Kirkland’s litigation practice in Houston, and has played a leading role in recent hallmark cases shaping the energy industry. Her practice focuses on business, environmental and tort disputes, including multi-district litigation and class actions, where her clients face substantial reputational and financial exposure. In that context, she has represented leading oil, gas, power and renewable companies and technology companies, as well as private-equity portfolio companies in a variety of industries. As a trial lawyer, she is known for being a decisive advisor to clients throughout all stages of litigation and has tried almost 20 cases to jury verdict or arbitration decision. She also regularly represents both debtors and creditors in restructuring-related litigation.
