Andrew Gershon

Andrew Gershon is a partner in the Investment Funds Practice Group in the New York office of Kirkland & Ellis LLP and a member of Kirkland’s industry-renowned Liquidity Solutions team. His practice focuses on advising both sponsors and lead investors in connection with complex business transactions in the private funds secondary market, including continuation fund transactions, portfolio sales, structured secondaries, stapled secondaries, preferred equity arrangements, fund recapitalizations, strip-sales, tender offers and other liquidity solutions. Andrew has been primarily focused on the secondaries market since 2014, working with a majority of the largest secondary buyers and leading private equity sponsors on all manner of secondary transactions. His current and past representative clients include Abry Partners, Banner Ridge, Coller Capital, Golden Gate, Lead Edge, Leonard Green, Pinegrove, RenWave Kore, SQ Capital, Ardian, Elliott, Hamilton Lane, Kelso, KKR, Morgan Stanley Capital Partners, Pantheon, StepStone and TPG GP Solutions.
