Amber Whipkey

Amber Whipkey is a partner in the Litigation Practice Group of Kirkland & Ellis LLP. Amber’s practice focuses on complex commercial litigation and government investigations, representing clients in matters related to a broad range of civil and enforcement actions. Amber provides guidance on comprehensive strategies to conduct discovery in an efficient and defensible manner, helping clients navigate any complex legal challenges, including the use of technology in the discovery process. Amber designs and executes discovery methods that are simultaneously cost-effective, defensible, and technology-forward, leveraging analytics, artificial intelligence and efficiently designed workflows. She regularly advises companies and financial institutions on preservation, collection, privilege and other discovery issues, ensuring compliance while positioning matters for early resolution or trial success.
