Amanda Hollis, an intellectual property litigator and partner in Kirkland’s Chicago office, has tried and led cases in federal courts across the country and in the United States International Trade Commission, including cases with hundreds of millions of dollars or more at stake. She also has served as lead counsel in many proceedings before the United States Patent and Trademark Office’s Patent Trial and Appeal Board. Her practice includes all areas of technology, including medical devices, biotechnology, chemistry, computing and electronics, and her clients have included some of the nation’s largest companies such as Abbott Laboratories, AbbVie, Pfizer, Teva, C.R. Bard, IBM, Samsung and Cisco, among others. Amanda was named to Benchmark Litigation’s 2016–2019 “Under 40 Hot List,” and Law360’s 2018 “Top Attorneys Under 40” for Intellectual Property. Amanda also was recognized for Patent Litigation in The Legal 500 U.S., 2017–2022, and was recommended in the 2022 edition of the IAM Patent 1000.
