Allison Murphy

Allison represents major public and privately-held companies, individuals and tax-exempt entities faced with congressional and government investigations. Having previously served as Associate Counsel in the White House Counsel’s Office and on House and Senate investigative committees, Allison brings her extensive experience to bear when guiding clients through high-stakes inquiries. She is well-versed in handling parallel inquiries by congressional committees and government agencies, as well as in litigation. She is also a trusted advisor in developing risk mitigation strategies, counseling Boards of Directors, and managing crisis scenarios. Her broad practice covers a range of industries when faced with scrutiny by Congress, federal regulatory and law enforcement agencies, and State Attorneys General offices.

Allison previously served as Associate Counsel in the White House, providing legal advice to senior Executive Branch officials and dealing with congressional investigations. Also, she was Chief Oversight Counsel of the House Select Subcommittee on the Coronavirus Crisis, as well as Counsel for the Senate Permanent Subcommittee on Investigations.
