Alejandro Linares

Alejandro is the head of the Dispute Resolution: Litigation and Arbitration department at ECIJA Mexico. He has over 25 years of experience advising national and international companies in the field of arbitration and complex litigation in civil, commercial, and administrative areas. Alejandro Linares has been recognized as a "Stand-out Lawyer" by Thomson Reuters 2023, along with over 2,000 high-profile in-house lawyers worldwide. Also, he has been ranked by the prestigious international directory Chambers & Partners Latin America 2024, among the best Mexican lawyers in "Dispute Resolution: Civil & Commercial Litigation".

He stands out for his extensive experience in the enforcement of foreign judgments and arbitral awards, as well as his strong professional practice in representing clients in compliance and conciliation proceedings.

He obtained his Bachelor's degree in Law from Universidad Panamericana (UP) in Mexico. Additionally, he holds a Master's degree in International Commercial Law (LLM) from the University of California, Davis, in the United States.

In addition to his academic achievements, he has completed a Diploma in Negotiation, Mediation, and Agreement Building at the Center for Research and Teaching in Economics (CIDE). Alejandro is a member of the prestigious Mexican Bar Association (BMA).

He is fluent in both Spanish and English.
