Practice Areas

For more than 25 years, Tina Grovier has worked with natural resource developers, Alaska Native Corporations, and regulated utilities to accomplish their goals in our northernmost state. She has assisted clients in negotiating key agreements for project development and operations, acquiring various permits and government approvals, and closing financing transactions. Whether it involves navigating complex regulatory schemes or creating a path forward where one didn’t exist before, Tina enjoys helping clients solve problems and get things done. Tina has:

- Advised oil, natural gas and mining clients in obtaining permits and other governmental approvals.

- Analyzed, prepared and negotiated exploration and option agreements, oil and gas leases, unit agreements, sand and gravel extraction contracts, surface use agreements, land use permits and easements.

- Represented pipeline carriers, public utilities, and other parties before the Regulatory Commission of Alaska.

Tina is the practice group leader for Stoel Rives’ nationally recognized Environment, Land Use & Natural Resources group and previously was the Anchorage Office Managing Partner.
