Stoel Rives advises oil, natural gas, and mining clients on permitting and governmental approvals at both the federal and state levels. It also assists with financing for on and offshore infrastructure projects and represents pipeline carriers, electric utilities, and other regulated entities before the Regulatory Commission of Alaska. The firm’s work includes tax planning and structuring, as well as drafting and implementing laws and regulations relating to Alaska’s oil and gas production and property tax regimes.
