Krista K McIntyre

As a leader and a lawyer, Krista McIntyre routinely asks, “how can I help?” Krista actively listens to clients and colleagues to identify others’ motivations and goals, then summons the right resources to achieve the desired outcome. Krista is considered among the region’s leading environmental lawyers because she is responsive to clients, knows how government agencies work, and she gets results. Using her strong interpersonal and problem-solving skills, Krista builds constructive working relationships with client and agency representatives at all levels of an organization to facilitate communication and complete projects.

Krista is a leader in Stoel Rives’ Environmental Justice (EJ) work, positioning clients to navigate emerging requirements and implement EJ principles for healthy businesses and healthy communities. Recently, she has been exploring Environmental, Social, and Governance practices and initiating conversations with clients on the intersection of ESG with the refreshed government EJ priorities.

Krista previously served as the leader of the firm’s Environment, Natural Resources & Land Use group. She is a past member of Stoel Rives’ Executive and Compensation Committees. Krista leads cross-office, cross-discipline client teams to ensure excellent and efficient execution of client work.

Before joining Stoel Rives, Krista was an attorney/advisor at EPA and a special trial attorney at DOJ.
