Scott advises lenders, borrowers and sponsors in relation to all types of debt finance, with particular expertise in project and infrastructure finance.
Scott has carved out a strong reputation in advising on development and construction financing, and acquisitions financing, of social and transport infrastructure, new energy projects, and resources and minerals projects. This includes advising on the successful bid for the Cross River Rail PPP, the project financing of the Edenvale Solar Farm, and the acquisition financing of FSI's successful bid for 6 a portfolio of six wind-farm assets from John Laing.
Scott has also advised on many first to market transactions, including the first certified green loan financing of a Public Private Partnership in Australia (the Canberra Metro PPP), advising the Northern Australia Infrastructure Facility on its first financing, the Onslow Marine Support Base, advising Snowy Hydro on the financing for the Snowy 2.0 project and the lenders to the Kidston Pumped Hydro Project.
