Roxana Abrașu

Career

Roxana Abrașu has 18 years of experience in the legal profession and is Head of NNDKP's Employment practice.

Her expertise covers the full lifecycle of employment relationships, from the design and implementation of internal policies to the management of individual and collective dismissal procedures.

Roxana regularly advises on strategic workforce restructuring and downsizing initiatives, ensuring that clients navigate these sensitive processes in full compliance with Romanian and EU legislation while minimizing litigation and reputational risks. She has extensive experience with the full range of employment termination scenarios, including those arising from misconduct, redundancy and mutual agreement, as well as in managing cross-border and local business transfers (TUPE).

She frequently leads collective bargaining processes, representing employers in negotiations with trade unions and employee representatives. She also provides counsel on workplace investigations and discrimination or harassment claims, working with clients to develop responsive strategies that are both legally sound and sensitive to employee relations.

A further area of focus in her practice is the implementation of restrictive covenants and post-employment protections. She advises on the drafting and enforcement of non-competition, non-solicitation and confidentiality agreements, tailoring these mechanisms to protect clients’ intellectual property, know-how, and business relationships.

She has been a Partner of the firm since 2021.
