Alina Timofti is Co-Head of NNDKP Tax Advisory Services and has been a Tax Partner of the firm since 2008.
Drawing on a professional career spanning over 28 years, Alina applies her expertise to provide bespoke tax strategies and solutions for businesses across a variety of industries, helping them optimize their tax position and minimize liability.
She regularly advises on the Romanian tax aspects of acquisitions, restructurings and other transactions and has led numerous projects in which she guided clients in developing their internal tax systems or in identifying potential vulnerabilities and areas for improvement for tax compliance purposes.
Additionally, Alina brings strategic expertise in audit defense and tax controversy, helping clients resolve tax issues effectively while minimizing financial and reputational risks.
She regularly assists clients in industries such as energy, infrastructure and transportation, pharmaceuticals, industrial, constructions.
She is a member of the working groups advising the Ministry of Finance on the amendment of the Romanian Tax Code.
Prior to joining the firm, Alina built her professional expertise at Big Four companies.
