Career
Anca Diaconu is heading the Competition practice, having significant professional experience in Competition, State aid, EU Law and FDI matters.
Her practice focuses on all aspects of EU and Romanian competition law, including merger clearance, cartels and abuse of dominance cases. She also advises regularly on complex State Aid and EU law matters and assists high-profile clients with FDI filings. On top of her expertise in transactions and compliance, she has a significant track record of assisting clients in competition litigation before national courts, including in private damages actions.
She has a Law Degree (Maîtrise en Droit, Droit Européen) from Paris I Panthéon-Sorbonne University, Collège Juridique Franco-Roumain d’Etudes Européennes. She also holds a Master’s Degree in International and European Business Law from the same institution.
She has been a Partner of the firm since 2022.
