Career

Anca Diaconu has significant professional experience in competition, state aid and EU Law matters.

Her practice focuses on all aspects of EU and Romanian competition law, including merger clearance, cartels and abuse of dominance cases. She also advises regularly on complex State Aid and EU law matters and assists high-profile clients with FDI filings. On top of her expertise in transactions and compliance, she has a significant track record in competition litigation before national courts, including private damages.

She has a Law Degree (Maîtrise en Droit, Droit Européen) from Paris I Panthéon-Sorbonne University, Collège Juridique Franco-Roumain d’Etudes Européennes. She also holds a Master’s Degree in International and European Business Law from the same institution.
