Career
Paolo Montironi, one of the Founding Partner and Senior Partner, has an extensive expertise in all aspects of mergers & acquisitions, private equity and restructuring, including representing multinational companies in public and private mergers, acquisitions and divestitures; and working closely with private equity firms. Representative transactions: Credito Italiano in the landmark bank merger which created the UniCredit Group; Riva Group-ILVA, the largest privatisation in the Italian steel industry, reported to be Europe's third largest steel producer. Leveraged buyout transactions for clients, including: Oaktree Capital, Pillarstone (KKR), Bridgepoint Capital, Clessidra, Barclays Private Equity, Investcorp, Rhone Capital, L Capital and Opera Private Equity. Complex restructurings of publicly listed and private companies, include: Marie Technimont, Premuda, Navigazione Montanari, Limoni, La Gardenia, and N&W.
