Paolo Ludovici has been a partner of GPBL since 2021, when the firm integrated L&P – Ludovici Piccone & Partners, the tax boutique he founded in 2014. Previously, he worked for twenty-three years at Maisto having joined the firm at its inception and becoming a partner in 2000. He advises on all areas of tax law.
His expertise includes domestic and international corporate reorganizations, M&A and structured finance transactions, tax planning for high net-worth individuals and trusts. He is frequently appointed as a technical expert in criminal and tax proceedings.
He regularly writes for Italian leading financial newspapers as well as for other major tax reviews and magazines. He regularly speaks at tax conferences and lectures in post-graduate specialization courses.
He has been recently appointed Vice President of the Tax & Legal & Compliance Commission in AIPB (Italian Private Banking Association) and he is a member of the Tax and Legal Commission in AIFI (Italian Private Equity and Venture Capital Association) and Invest Europe. He is a member of STEP Society of Trust and Estate Practitioners at Bocconi University.
He is admitted to the Italian Chartered Accountant Association in Milan.
