Anton Carlo Frau handles M&A transactions involving listed and unlisted companies, with a particular focus on the capital markets sector and financial market regulation. His practice covers a wide range of transactions, including IPOs, rights issues, mergers of and with listed companies, takeover bids and delistings, the incorporation and listing of SPACs and their business combinations.
Over his career, he has developed strong expertise in equity capital markets and, since 1998, has been involved in many of the main extraordinary finance transactions (IPOs, takeover bids, capital increases, mergers, demergers) that have taken place on the Italian stock market and in several listing procedures on foreign markets (mainly, Austria, Luxembourg and Spain).
He has advised and continues to assist Italian and foreign investment banks, corporations, and private equity funds and advises listed and unlisted companies and their shareholders on corporate governance and regulatory matters, in particular with reference to Consob and Borsa Italiana regulations.
He graduated in Law from the Università degli Studi di Milano in 1994 and is a member of the Milan Bar Association since 1997.
