Filippo Arena deals with European Union law, administrative law, antitrust and regulation, and consumer protection, coordinating the firm's activities in these areas.
He was a State Attorney and Secretary General of the Italian Competition Authority. Also at the Italian Competition Authority, he first held the position of Legal Advisor and then Chief of Staff. During his professional career, he has regularly represented the Italian State before the Court of Justice of the European Union in preliminary ruling requests and infringement proceedings. He has held various positions within the State Attorney General's Office and the Ministry of Economic Development, where he was also Head of the Legislative Office.
He is a speaker at numerous national and international conferences on antitrust and administrative law.
