Gianni Martoglia is an expert in corporate consulting, mergers and acquisitions, and capital markets, specialising in assisting Italian and international private equity funds.
Gianni specialises in complex extraordinary finance and M&A transactions, including private M&A, public M&A, and/or distressed M&A, involving Italian and foreign private equity funds and/or other institutional and financial investors.
Gianni assists clients from the structuring of extraordinary transactions in close coordination with the firm's regulatory and tax practices, in the drafting and negotiation of the related legal and contractual documentation, as well as in the resolution of all legal issues arising from conflicts of law where the transactions are cross-border in nature.
Gianni has also gained particular experience in extraordinary transactions involving sports clubs.
He graduated with honours from the Università degli Studi di Torino in 1992 and was admitted to the Turin Bar in 1996. He has also written several articles on corporate law and securities which have appeared in some of the most important Italian publications. Furthermore, he was the co-author of the book “Tecniche di Private Equity”.
