Nick is project and infrastructure finance specialist, advising borrowers and lenders alike on a wide range of financing transactions including PPPs and privatisations.

Nick has led the Allens team on a number of the most prominent project finance transactions in recent years, including advising on the Queens Wharf Development, Sydney Light Rail Project, New Royal Adelaide Hospital, Circular Quay Redevelopment, the initial acquisitions and subsequent refinancings of NSW LPI and VIC LPI, the Carlton Connect Mixed Use Development, and bids for the A$5 billion Cross River Rail PPP, New Footscray Hospital PPP, Optus Mobile Towers, Pluto Gas Train 2 and Victorian Social Housing Renewal Program.

Nick has also been highly sought after by sponsors and senior lenders on the restructuring of complex major projects as they experience difficulties, having advised on some of the largest examples in Australia to date – Sydney Light Rail PPP, New Royal Adelaide Hospital PPP, Wiggins Island Coal Export Terminal, Sunraysia Solar Farm and Port Pirie Transformation Project.
